There is a bill headed for congress right now that will create even MORE unwanted and neglected horses in the U.S. It has been my dream to start a rescue/rehab for these animals. I was wondering if there are any business government grants available to help start a rescue program like the one i’m imagining.

Hi there…I have heard of several rescues in my region receiving grant funding (city/county/sate & federal) to aid in the operations and care for the horses. Consisder ringing several of the local rescues around you and ask how they began and what grants did they apply to obtain assistance. Please note that grant funding clears after the end of each fiscal year so there will be more grants availble for the first of each successive year
