Can I still get government grants for school as a felon in Texas?

I’m interested in going back to school here in Texas but i’m uncertain if i’m eligible to get government help as a felon.

    Yes you can.Maybe not some of the same loans but Texas is all about bettering yourself.Just look at it this way if some betters themselves than you {or anyone else} is also contributing to society no a drain on it.That is how most people in Texas think.You may even have more opportunity than others.

    It looks like Texas probably would not help you because of your felony, but depending upon what your felony is, the federal government may help you with grants. If it is a drug offense, then no, you will not get help more than likely.

    Look for non-recidivism programs in your state.
